Remembering Jean
The Jean Harrison Bojes Music Foundation was established to honor the life and legacy of Jean Harrison Bojes, a music educator who taught at Concordia University for over 20 years followed by years of private music lessons in her retirement. Generations of her students remember her for the same things: warmth, encouragement, and an unwavering belief that every student had something worth expressing through music.
Jean’s influence reaches far beyond the lessons she gave and lives on in the musicians, teachers, and music-lovers she shaped, and now in the Foundation that carries her name.
What We Do
The Foundation continues Jean’s work by providing scholarships and grants to students interested in exploring music. These can cover:
- Private music lessons
- Instruments and equipment
- School music program fees
- Summer music camps and intensives
- Collegiate study and conservatory programs
- Other opportunities that help young musicians grow
